It's Game Time...

And this is a devious one: Wordspector. This game is a curious cross between Mastermind and Scrabble -- letters are substituted for the colored pegs from the former, and you have a limited set of letters you can use at any time, as is the case with the latter (although in Wordspector, there are sixteen letters in your "rack" instead of seven, so you have much more flexibility -- and, you can use one letter more than once).

The devious aspect of this game is, as you progress, the words you need to come up with get longer. By about level twelve, you start to think you've bitten off more than you can chew -- and I won't even get into what every other bonus level is like, you'll just have to deal with that yourself.

Anyway, enjoy the game. If you can...

Sort of cool update: I just scored over 1,400,000 on this game, and that got me into the top 100 scorers' list at 76. Turns out if you go through each level without running out of time, your final score is doubled. It doesn't mean a thing, really, but I did crack the top 100.

Not bad...

This is a First Amendment zone, but I do use word verification now. If you don't like that, well, this is also a Fifth Amendment zone. Take your pick...
