A Little Music...

Just a song that I haven't heard in a while, Jethro Tull's "Reasons For Waiting":



Sometimes, it's a bit hard for me to believe this beautiful tune was written and sung by the same guy who came up with A Passion Play -- a concept album depicting a dead man's journey in the afterlife, wherein he ultimately rejects both heaven and hell in favor of what seems to be eternal rebirth -- just a few years later. But Ian Anderson has written many songs that touch on the spiritual in some way, to varying degrees -- you could probably get at least two good box sets just choosing from those.

{P.S.: If I ever find the time, I'd like to start writing some posts about what it's been like driving a taxi at night in Nashua for the past year. I still don't have my own internet access -- this is being written on a library computer. And yeah, I've got some things to say about the Obama administration and Syria, the various shootings from Newtown to Navy Yard, Snowden, that lucky, grinning idiot George Zimmerman, and so on. Hard to do when you don't have your own access. So a music post will have to do...}
